The big Company buyout hasn’t really done much to improve Southport Marina. It’s still very difficult to enjoy showering in comfortable air an water temperatures. The WiFi connectivity is terrible in this day and age. The absence of a Captains Lounge prevents my aging wife from executing her daily Chi Gung / Tai Chi workout that is critical to maintaining her health. Leasing extra space to yacht brokers, etc. is obviously more profitable. It’s clear that the takeover of independent marinas will increasingly penalize cruisers.
